Representatives from 25 of the 30 FVYFL programs gathered in York this spring to talk football and hash out the details of the upcoming 2024 season.
The most notable thing to come out of these meetings was a modification of rule E2. A standardized helmet marker has been implemented for players in the heavyweight classification of 150-180#. Those players will now be required to wear a distinct stripe on their helmet running from the crown to the base. This rule will take effect leaguewide in 2024.
Other rules changes can be found in the updated FVYFL Rules & By-Laws document that will release by May 1. Divisional structure, conference alignment, and the schedules will be released closer to July.
