There has been a change to the 11-man division following the annual spring meeting. Raymond Central has opted to leave the FVYFL ahead of the 2026 season. This change took effect on May 7, 2026 upon receipt of notice from RC. Their membership status was terminated that same day. The Mustangs exit the league in good standing with a pair of championships, a handful of title game appearances, and a lot of memories to boot. Storied programs often duked it out weekly in the early days of the FVYFL. Jump back a decade ago, when team counts were in the single digits, it was practically impossible to not share the field with one of the cornerstone programs of the time. Fast forward to today and the 8-man division sits at 19 teams and counting. Those traditional teams still remain, but their encounters with one another are now more few and far between.
